Back in March, French Vogue came out with an issue centred around special guest Mario Testino's homeland - Peru. 

The photographer has now collaborated with Net-a-Porter to create a collection based on his native country. We were honored and inspired when Marcelle was asked to create a series of pieces for this collection. Launching today it was our surprise to find that as of now there is only one piece left! .

Crazy for Cupcakes

Here at D&ME, we can't seem to get enough of cupcakes. We were pleasantly surprised when one of our amazing customers brought in some from Lola's for everyone to enjoy the other day!

Yum!

We're also conveniently near a Hummingbird's Bakery. Forget getting fit for summer, we're too excited by their monthly specials - sticky toffee pudding and lemon meringue cupcakes!

Marcelle's Monthly Must-Haves: May

As May leaves us into the hopes of summer, we look back upon our favourite items here at D&ME via our Instagram photos.

We've been loving Diane Kordas rings, R&Y Augousti clutches (apparently so have you, these have been selling out fast), and all sorts of wacky, statement accessories in general. Of course, there is also Alexander McQueen.

Celebrating Cannes 2013

As the annual Cannes Film Festival is reaching its end, we thought that we would celebrate the best dressed at this year's festival. Judging from our picks, the monochrome trend is clearly still going strong.

Of course, we've also included the D&ME take on some of our favourite red carpet looks.

Gatsby Glamour

Carey Mulligan was shadowed by a security guard throughout the filming of The Great Gatsby.

The protection was not for her, however, but for the millions of dollars worth of Tiffany's & Co. jewellery that her character, Daisy Buchanan, sported in nearly every scene that she was featured.

Mulligan said:

"I would be doing a scene, wearing these fabulous jewels from Tiffany's worth many, many millions ... There'd be diamond bracelets on each arm, and diamond earrings, and rings, and strings of pearls around my neck. And I could see this guy in the corner watching me intently, in case I ran off with anything."

Flower Power

The Chelsea Flower Show ran until the 25th of May at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, D&ME's neighbour. This annual event, attended by the Royal Family (Prince Charles pictured below), remains England's most prestigious flower show since its conception in 1913. As usual, this year's show has provided a colourful spectacle of beautiful flowers of all shapes and sizes and if there is one thing we love at D&ME it's flowers!
